Corey Martin

Corey Deonte Martin was born on May 6, 1994 to Denise Sanders
and Corey Bernard Martin.
When Corey was younger he attended Calumet Park grammar
school and Thornton Township high school. He was an awesome

singer, incredible dancer and more. His choice of music was a vir-
tual style, he could sing and dance to just about anything. Corey

was never afraid of being himself. When Corey first came out to

us he assumed we were going to judge him and although we al-
ready knew we were happy he felt comfortable telling us.

Out of 8 children. Corey was the 4th child and was the first boy in

the family. He had a total of 18 nieces and nephews which includ-
ed 13 girls and 5 boys. Corey was close to each and every one of

his family members.
Corey went by many unique names such as Rey-Rey, Reylonie
Benz, Rey-Reylewinsky and so many more. Corey did his big one
whenever he came around family.
Corey leaves behind his Mother Denise Sanders. 5 sisters Diana
Sanders, Angela Parr, Amanda Parr, Veronica Parr and baby sister
Tiffany Craig. 2 brothers Martise Craig, and baby brother Marvell
Craig,. He also leaves his aunties Linda Beckwood, Donna Sanders
and Veronica Sanders. Uncles Jerry Ewing, Donnell Sanders, John
Sanders and Dawyne Sanders and a host of cousins.
Corey received his Angel Wings on April 4, 2025 and has joined
grandmother Dorthey Mae Sanders and father Corey Bernard
Martin. Corey will be missed as his beautiful voice echoes in our
ears. You will forever be in our hearts and as we go on with our
lives you will never be forgotten.
